We started in 1996 as a family business serving the Pioneer Valley, and that’s still what we are. We’re not a franchise. We’re not a private-equity rollup. We’re a working team of certified technicians who answer the phone, walk the system with you, and stand behind the work.
Over the years we’ve grown into the only NADCA-certified duct cleaning operation in this market with the equipment and the documentation process to handle commercial kitchen exhaust under NFPA-96. That gave us a second business line — restaurant, school, and hospital kitchens — that lives alongside our residential and commercial duct work.
We’re part of the Longo Carpet Cleaning & Restoration family of companies. Two generations of Western Mass roots. Same family, same standards, same accountability.
Today, Affordable Duct Cleaning helps homeowners with residential air duct cleaning, restaurants and facilities with commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning, and property owners with related airflow services like HVAC system cleaning and dryer vent cleaning.

The certification most local cleaners don't carry.
NADCA — the National Air Duct Cleaners Association — is the only nationally recognized body that certifies duct cleaning technicians. Their standard is the standard. Most companies in this market aren’t certified by anyone.
We are. Our technicians have passed certification, are recertified on an ongoing basis, and follow the NADCA-aligned cleaning sequence on every job. It’s the difference between a duct cleaner and a duct-cleaning specialist.
